Checco Caffé – I met Nicola while living in Calábria, Italy. He runs a little coffee shop together with his brother and father. They select and buy their coffee from local suppliers, roast it themselves and serve the best coffee in the area. Their caffé is the meeting point in town, on sundays everyone get together to drink coffees and watch football matches. I became a frequent customer, coming daily for a cappuccino and use the wi-fi. Nicola got intrigued about what I was doing in front of computer for days on end. After explaining my work and showing him my portfolio, he hired me to design the shop’s new logo.
